NEC update and LotV challenge

Only just about got over the busy day yesterday!!
but I’m all set to do it all over again tomorrow!!!! lol

Boy was it busy!!! It was a superfun day and yep..
I’ve spend up, got no penny’s left!!!!
[I've tried to take a picture of my stash.. but my camera didn't seem to have stopped working! heehe]

My first stop was the magnolia stand as I hoped the new Christmas Tilda’s would be there..
and they sure were!!
So many to choose from, think I had to get nearly all of them
Then John asked me if I knew that one of my cards was in the Magnolia Ink Magazine that was out..
and I can tell you that I whooped with joy when I seen that my card was shown at the back
to promote the next Issue out in February!!

It was also superfun to meet some fabulous Blog Ladies *big waves* and Tracy at Crafts you Love,
I’m glad I left some stamps for you.. heehe!
I really can’t wait until tomorrow when I hope to meet up with tonnes more blog friends

Then it was a big, big pleasure to meet Dulcie on the Origin Publishing [magazine] stand
where she was demo-ing her fabulous WILD ROSE STUDIO stamps,
they are just the cutest!!

Right, back to my card:
Over at the Lili of the Valley challenge blog they have a recipe for you to follow:

3 Papers, 2 Stamps [one can be a sentiment] and 1 type of Embellishment.

I got myself some of the new yummie LotV stamps at the NEC yesterday..
and used this little fella for my card today.

The papers are MME Everyday Tango,
colouring medium is copics and I’ve used my new spica glitter pens that Bryony is now selling over at
SILLY MONKEY CRAFTS
SU! sentiment and punches, as my embellishment type I’ve gone for bling!

I’ve really enjoyed myself.. Thanks for the Challenge

Lottie give away..

I’m sure you’ve seen the new Twinkle Tots by the Greeting farm by now.. aren’t they just adorable?
Deb at STAMPEEZEE has been stroking them and I couldn’t resist having a play as soon as I got my hands on them.

But in all my excitement.. when I got home, I found that I got TWO of these cute LOTTIE’S so I’m having a quick give away.

CCT does ASFOS

Isn’t the weather horrible today?? It’s just damp, grey and dowdy… not nice at all!
So what is a girl todo with a couple of spare hours? ..
yep, that’s right.. lets make a card!!

With today’s card I’ve managed to combine 2 challenges..

CUTE CARD THURSDAY’s theme is “Midnight Margarita’s”  so anything drink/cocktail related..
and the sketch I’ve used is a gorgeous one from SONJA over at a SPOON FULL OF SUGAR

Isn’t this little penguin too cute??
His name is Oliver and he is one of the new Krafting Kimmie stamps available at
SILLY MONKEY CRAFTS

For my card I have used the gorgeous BG Blitzen and Figgy Pudding papers, SU sentiment and punches.

Talking about Stampin Up.. There are gonna be big changes within the demo-ship of SU!
I couldn’t agree with them as it involves linking back to other craft suppliers..
This doesn’t mean that I won’t be using their product anymore.. just that I’m no longer a demo

New Kimmies!!!

Hello everyone!!

Did you miss me??  Did you wonder if I ran off and said goodbye to crafting??? LOL

Nah.. I’ve just spend a lovely half term break with my kiddies and just didn’t have a chance to get creative.

I’ve used CLARA & bird for my top card and used ANTOINETTE with snowflake on the one below.

They are fabulous wintery stamps.. not necessarily christmas stamps so that is a bonus!

I’ve used the snowflake stamp on the background papers for extra decoration.. I’m liking that flake alot!! LOL

Anya for Sketch Saturday

I had been playing with paper yesterday and made yet another flower!
This one has been made from heart templates that I cut out and then inked &  scrunched to bits..
then fastened with a bling brad.

The theme at ANYONE FOR ANYA is Autumn Colours this week..
Think these papers are ever so Autumny.. lol but only just realised this was last weeks theme… duh!

The mistake on it was indeed the gem in the centre of the snowflake by image..
Think it was only Deb who spotted it!! lol
