Good evening all,
As Mini Tilda number 1 is on its way to the USA it’s time for the second of my little Mini Magnolia give aways..
This time it is the little Angel Tilda that is shown on my card for this evening..
and I have used my own little mini Tilda for this inside the card [picture below]
so you can see how teeny weeny they really are!
For you to be in with a chance of receiving this little beauty
please leave me a message under this post.
You have until Friday evening [20th] and it will close at 8pm..
Anyone can enter and I will draw the winner shortly afterwards.
Back to my card.. I have unknowingly managed to fit this card in with 2 challenges and they are:
* PAPERTAKE WEEKLY thanks so much for the wonderful sketch 🙂
* A SPOON FULL OF SUGAR where the theme is a card for a baby’s first christmas/Pre-schooler
Just a quick mention that the new Christmas Tilda’s are now in stock over at STAMPEEZEE..
The papers I used are also by Magnolia and everything else is from stash.
Inside of my card looks like this:
Thanks everso much for looking and have a fab evening!
I’ll be spending it by curling up to watch “I’m a Celeb” ..
I think this is going to be the best series to date!
THIS DRAW IS NOW CLOSED!
Hugs, Marlene xx
This week the lovely CLAUDIA has provided the fabby sketch over at the
FRIDAY SKETCHERS BLOG
Another one of those that you can ‘dress up’ or ‘dress down’!
I was itchin to use the pressie I got from my lovely friend ANKI, she is just a joy to colour!! I love her 🙂
The papers are Kelly Panacci for Sandylion.. with their gorgeous muted tones they are one of my all time fav christmas papers.
Thanks for the sketch and thanks for looking,
Hugs, Marlene x
Heather has provided another stunning sketch over at the WOJ challenge blog..
Great excuse to use this cute stamp that I got as a birthday pressie from Katharina
To fit the sketch with my image I had to turn it, thanks goodness it is a very versatile sketch 🙂
Image is coloured with Copic sketch markers, papers I have used are BG Eskimo Kisses and used some MS and SU! punches.
Thanks for the challenge and have a great Wednesday,
Hugs, Marlene x
Today I want to show you a Christmas card with a difference..
I’ve been meaning to do this particular fold card for ages..
and when I received my latest ‘Cards Only’ magazine [Dutch]
they showed another sample with it.. so I just had to try it out today!
Above you can see what the card looks like when folded, so it will fit in an envelope
When you open it up.. it looks like this:
Pretty snazzy right?
It really looks heaps more complicated than it actually is,
I love doing it and have made two more while I was ‘at’ it this morning 😀
Well, I had the Stampin Up! papers on my desk and as it is from a scrapping set you get loads of materials in there..
I don’t think i’ve even used half of them yet.. and can’t have wastage, can we?! lol
The supercute stamps are by Buzzcraft [set 438] and they are available from
SILLY MONKEY CRAFTS
I was lucky enough to receive them in my DT kit, I love them!
These sets are also brilliant value for money with their bear images, sentiments, borders and accessory stamps.
Bryony also has a huge array of colours in the flat backed pearls.. they really are the perfect embellishment to finish your project!
Thanks everso for looking and any comments you might leave..
I quickly wanted to show these pictures of Olli..
Got him into crafting at a very early age!!! lol
Hugs, Marlene xx
The challenge this week at a Spoon full of Sugar blog is ‘Secret Message’. You are required to hide the card message and the DT team really excelled themselves with gorgeous samples.. There is also a gorgeous prize to be won, check it all out Here!
I have made my card following Beate’s Criss Cross Card tutorial, I’ve done a few of these before and I never get tired of doing this shape.. and it’s perfect for this weeks challenge!
Looking at the pictures.. I will sponge the edges and the middle bit of the insert to give it a little definition.. and there is still some space left on the insert to add our message..
Stamps: Christmas Honey and sentiment by SugarNellie
, Swirls by Autumn Leaves.
Distress ink pads, ProMarker pens and sakura glitter pen for colouring.
DP is Crate Paper, Taylor Collection.
SU! Tab punch (just got this.. and it’s fab!!)
Woodware snowflake punch
Ribbon, star spacers and brads from stash.
As I had alot of left over bits from cutting the DP diagonally, I’ve nearly finished a simular card.. hoping to show this soon 🙂
Thanks again for the challenge girls!!
